Big DONBURI!!@KAIHOKAN

I went today to Tsukiji jyogai market again. My colleague searched about Tsukiji restaurant on the web, and we tried one of them today.

We had lunch at "Tsukiji Kaihokan"

It is difficult for me to find out any shops in this Tsukiji Market because there are different kind of shops and restaurants! But it is so interesting and every time you go there, you can discover new things!!

So go back to my lunch.
Basically Kaihokan serves various kind of fish and dishes as well as Sushi. And at lunch time you can eat reasonable DONBURI(rice served in a bowl).
This time I ate Anago TEMPURA Donburi(sea eel tempura Donburi).





It has 3 BIG Anago Tempura on the rice!!!! They said it's Special!! Yes Tempura is not greasy, but it was too heavy for me...


It cost 800Yen. Reasonable!!!






My Colleagues ate these two;


Uni Teisyoku(set meal with Sea urchin) (1000yen)

She said it's so fresh and delicious!!!


I love Uni!! Uni is one of the special and expensive seafood for Japanese.











Also Ginmutsu and Nakaochi Teisyoku(Set meal with Boiled fish and Tuna Sashimi)(900yen)



Nizakana(Boiled fish dressed with Soy sauce) is one of the Mom's food for Japanese. We use various kind of fish.

Teisyoku is set meal, and usually has main food with rice, miso soup and side dishes. This time miso soup was soup with Kani(Crab)!!







This restaurant is seasonable and have various kinds of dishes, like Donburi and Teisyoku.
But Anago Tempura Donburi is so heavy....
